Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect

We collect the following information:

• Account data: email address and password (managed by Supabase Auth)
• Profile data: name, work history, skills, resume, and career preferences you provide
• Usage data: AI interactions, job searches, and application activity
• Company data (employers): company profile, job openings, and candidate evaluations

2. How We Use Your Data

• AI matching: your profile is processed by AI to generate summaries, match you with jobs or candidates, and score fit
• Anonymity: employers see an AI-generated anonymous summary of your profile — never your name or contact info — until you accept their interest
• Embeddings: vector representations of your profile and resume are used for similarity matching
• Chat: conversations with the AI assistant are stored for context continuity

3. Third-Party Services

• Anthropic (Claude): AI chat, evaluations, and content generation
• OpenAI: text embeddings for similarity matching, text-to-speech
• Supabase: authentication and database hosting
• Stripe: payment processing for credit purchases

Your data is sent to these services only as needed to provide functionality. We do not sell your data.

4. Data Visibility

You control your visibility level:

• Hidden: your profile is not visible to employers
• Anonymous: employers see skills and experience summary, not your identity

Your name and contact information are only revealed when you explicitly accept an employer's interest.

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. Dismissed chat messages are automatically deleted after 30 days. You may request full account deletion at any time.

6. Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Database connections use SSL. Authentication tokens are JWT-signed. We do not store passwords — authentication is handled by Supabase Auth.

7. Your Rights

You may:

• Export your profile data at any time
• Change your visibility settings
• Delete your account and all associated data
